War Contamination BioremediationSOILS is training local activists in community-based bioremediation strategies to rehabiliate agricultural land damaged by the Israeli war.
The training adopts a collaborative approach between plants, fungi, and soil microorganisms to clean soils from explosives residues, heavy metals, white phosphorous and other chemicals like dioxins, protecting farmers' health, food security, and livelihoods. Micro-Gardens Manual by SOILSSOILS completed a Micro-Gardens workshop in 6 refugee camps in the Bekaa.
