SOILS is organizing a training on preserving local seeds to help improve food sovereignty among rural communities in the Jezzine caza, South Lebanon
This training is made possible with the support of Terre et Humanisme (France) within the AMED 2 program - "Agroécologie et souveraineté alimentaire pour le Sud de la Mediterranée."
The workshop aims to identify and preserve seeds of local and locally adapted crops that are adapted to the climate and resistant to diseases, in order to improve the seed and food sovereignty of rural communities in the region.

Who Should Participate?
The workshop is aimed at small growers in the Jezzine area. Applicants should be able to commit to the whole training period, have at least some experience in growing vegetables (minimum 1 summer and 1 winter season), and be interested in agreoecology.
